Baraga students are enjoying some late-winter activities that are stimulating minds and breaking up the season. A science fair involved kindergarten through fifth graders. Students selected their projects and went to work. The finished science projects line the entire elementary hallway. Judges were sixth grade math and science and elementary gym teacher Dan Dompierre, Title 1 paraprofessional David Cladas and school volunteer Walleen Falstad. They spent time pouring through the exhibits and awarding ribbons on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016. Students in kindergarten, first and second grade worked on science projects as classroom groups.
