Eagle Mine donates two rigs to LFD

SWEET FLEET–The L’Anse Fire Department’s fleet has grown by two rescue rigs, thanks to Eagle Mine’s donation of the Polaris ATV mini-ambulance and 40’ trailer shown above.

Eagle Mine is helping the L’Anse Fire Depart-ment (LFD) get the job done. The company has donated a 40-foot disaster response trailer and a Polaris ATV mini-ambulance to the department. The ATV has already proven its mettle in the rescue of an injured snowmobiler. The trailer is destined for regional use as a disaster response control center.
